Based on the same Danish design as the Kinderkot, the Peuter Luxe Travel Dome is manufactured by leading Australian brand Childcare. We are very impressed by the high quality finishing and very stable design of this new travel cot.
If you are looking for a simple and quick to assemble travel cot, look no further! This travel cot is perfect for those trips when you are setting up and putting away your travel cot a number of times..instant assembly is hard to beat!
The travel dome is also ideal for using at picnics, when you are visting friends or for nights away. As it folds up so small and assembles so quickly, we recommend you keep it in your car boot for those times when your baby or toddler needs a snooze when you are out.
The total weight is 3.8kg, including the mattress and sleeping bag.
The sleeping bag velcros to the base of the travel dome in 4 places.
Peuter Luxe Travel Dome features:
Mattress (cushion and insulation)
Simple, rapid assembly
Compact and light to carry
Nylon fabric is washable with SPF 50
Complies with Aus/NZ Safety Standards.
Sleeping bag is included in the price - this is suitable for use with toddlers.
Dimensions when assembled: 136 length x 84cm width x 62cm high
Dimensions when packed (round carry bag): 47 x 44 x 15cm
Suitable for use from newborn to 3-4 years.
The Peuter Luxe Travel Dome assembles exactly the same as the Kinderkot. You take it out of the bag, pop it up, then insert the inflated mattress.
The mattress only takes a few puffs to inflate it. After a few uses the mattress will generally self inflate once you open the valve but we recommend still using a few puffs forspeed and to ensure it is firmly inflated.
The mattress can be used inside the travel dome or in the zip pocket underneath the travel dome. The pocket underneath the travel dome is required for the strict British safety standard. You can still use the mattress inside the travel dome, please just ensure you only use the supplied mattress that fits fimly and use close fitting bedding.

I purchased this travel cot thinking it would suit our outdoors lifestyle this summer. It was awesome. Bubba slept peacefully while we went to the beach, the park, other people's houses. All the other (older) kids wanted to climb in with bubba and they fitted in easily, so I know it'll last us for a few years, and with more bubba's on the way - who knows how long we'll be using it for. Its easy enough to use, packs down into a convenient size and its lightweight. Brilliant.

Bought a Kinderkot for our first child which has been one of the best purchases we made. Allowed us to put our little guy to bed in familiar surroundings when we traveled, tramped, or went out to visit friends in the evenings. We still use it for him and he's over 3 now. We've only had the travel dome for a couple of weeks so number two isn't used to it yet, but noticed that it has see through mesh at the bottom which possibly reduces one of the key advantages. However, it's got some practical additions that our original kinderkot didn't have and if it does as well as the kinderkot we'll be very happy
