Our 3 Seasons sleeping bag must be the most versatile sleeping bag available! It can be used from 18 to 30 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag. Ideal for day sleeps year round, and night from spring through to autumn.
It is made from 2 layers of gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft cotton blend fabric. This beautifully soft fabric is knitted specially for woolbabe! It is suitable for babies with eczema or sensitive skin, as it is so soft and does not feel at all woolly or scratchy.
The combination of wool and cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. These conditions are often more difficult to gauge what your child should sleep in. The wool component still provides the qualities which react to changes in body temperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which encourages everyone to have a good nights sleep.
The Side Zip means you open out the bag fully, which is helpful for nappy changing. It has 2 domes on each shoulder and underarm domes for use with smaller babies.
This was was previously called the woolbabe ’lightweight’ bag, so some swing tags and labels may still have the ’lightweight’ description..
Outer fabric (yarn dyed stripe) 30% Australian wool/ 70% cotton.
Inner fabric (yarn dyed stripe) 30% Australian wool/ 70% cotton.
Toffee Apple - cherry red and natural stripe.
Should I buy a front or side zip woolbabe?
The main considerations are how wriggly your child is and how often you will use the travel slot. If your child is very wriggly or likes to stand up in the cot we recommend a front-zip bag, as they may otherwise pop open the shoulder domes on a side zip bag.
The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means that little feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zip bag. However if you use the travel slot often you may prefer the slot in the front and back.
One other advantage of the side-zip woolbabe is that it opens out completely flat. This can make nappy changing a bit easier.
Travel slot & Domes:
This woolbabe can be used in your carseat or buggy with a 5-point harness. It has a double-ended zip on the side, a travel slot in the front and back of the bag. There are 2 shoulder domes on each shoulder and domes under the arms for use with smaller babies.
The 3-24 (months measured shoulder to bottom)- 95cm. Domes under the arms for a snug fit with babies 3-6 months.
Toddler size to fit children 2-4 yrs (from12kg) - (measured shoulder to bottom) - 117cm
All woolbabe sleeping bags have been tested and rated LOW FIRE DANGER.
Woolbabe sleeping bags can be gentle machine washed with a liquid woolwash. You can also low tumble dry your bag but please be aware some shrinkage may occur with tumble drying.

We bought our first Woolbabe 4 years ago and they have been the best purchase ever!! The 3-Seasons is so versatile and had lasted incredibly well with continuous use over the last 4 years between two children in succession. Highly recommend!

I bought one of these for my stepdaughter and it works like a dream. Before she used to get too warm in bed, kick her blanket off and then get cold and therefore wake up. Now she sleeps through the night as she doesnât get cold anymore. She also loves hopping in it before bedtime and knows that itâs time to go to bed soon. I wish I would have found your website earlier.

We bought our first woolbabe 3 season at the start of winter to get an active sleeper all the way through the night so we could stop getting up every few hours to recover him. We have a house that is only ten years old, well insulated, a fire place and some great wool blankets on the bed, so we decided on a lighter weight bag. So soft and cuddly, Charlie now gets frustrated if he doesnt get his woolbabe for day sleeps too!

This sleeping bag is by far our favourite in our home. The blend of cotton and wool is perfect for our temperatures inAdelaide both for day and night sleeps. My first child has very sensitive skin and eczema, and reacts to a number of different products and materials. This sleeping bag allows her body temperature to regulate itself, meaning a more comfortable sleep and less skin problems.
LOVE the side zip too, it seems less disruptive for night time nappy changes, and it's out of the way of little fingers to unzip themselves :)
Highly recommend these +++ fabulous design and great wearing too.
