Cool Air Mesh All Position Omni 360 Carrier - The Ergobaby Omni 360 is the all-in-one baby carrier for everyone that simply does it all!

The new Omni 360 Carrier with cool mesh is a forward-facing, newborn-ready baby carrier that delivers better-than-ever comfort and ergonomics without the need for an Infant Insert and includes nice and cool mesh.  This easy to use carrier offers all carry positions and adjusts to support babies from newborn to toddler (3.2-15kgs).

The Four Position 360 Cool Air Baby Carrier offers to parents and babies the comfort and ergonomics as our other Four Position 360 carriers, with the added benefit of a cooler design, ideal for an active lifestyle or warmer climates.

Its breathable, double sided, 3D Air Mesh fabric panel and mesh lining keeps baby and parent cool thanks to more airflow. 360 Cool Air carrier is made of 100% Polyester fabric that is machine washable, easy to dry and easy to take care of, while other ergobaby 360 carriers are made of 100% Premium Cotton fabric.

The 360 Cool Air Carrier has a lumbar support waistbelt with buckle instead of the velcro waistband of our other 360 Carriers, and have slightly curved shoulder straps with extra padding and mesh lining for coolness.

The construction of the bucket seat is the same as our other 360 carriers, and adjusts the same way with buttons that change the seat width between inward facing and forward facing carry positions (Front Inward, Front Outward, Hip, and Back carry).

Questions?

Isn’t a front-facing carrier bad for baby’s hips?

Not when it is an ergonomically designed carrier where baby’s legs are maintained in the optimum, frog leg position. The ergobaby 360 hasa unique bucket seat design, where baby sits in the carrier rather than the dangling style of traditional front packs.

Aren’t front packs uncomfrtable for the wearer once baby is a bit heavier?

ergobaby carriers are comfortable and this is no exception. The waist band is very supportive and baby is held close to you rather than pulling you forward.

But don’t some people consider it over-stimulating for babies to face outwards?

We do not recommend that newborns face outwards, as they do not have either the neck strength to maintain that position and it is important to be able to easily view your newborn to ensure their airways remain open. It is also easy for newborns to get over-stimulated and over-tired when facing outwards. For these reasons and the design and sizing of the carrier, the forward facing position is suitable for babies 6-12 months.

Washing & Care:

Machine washable: Cold with mild detergent on gentle cycle. Dry on delicate cycle and remove when seams are still damp. Air dry Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Full washing instructions are included, please read these for more information.

About Ergobaby

Its innovative design makes wearing your baby comfortable for hours at a time, gives you the freedom to remain active and productive in your daily life, and holds your baby secure to your body so you are Hands Free

It’s a perfect carrier for families on the go - light and comfortable to wear, easy to use and lasts as long as you want to carry your child. Just what you need for the holidays!

This is the all-in-one soft baby carrier, assisting you through all the stages of your baby’s growth and moving from front to hip to back position easily.

The Ergobaby Carrier’s ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby’s hip, pelvis and spine growth. It disperses most of the baby’s weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch which most other designs require.

The Ergobaby also balances the baby’s weight to parents’ hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent.

There are many different Ergobaby designs, for help choosing the one which is right for you see the "How to Choose" video below.

Guide to using a standard Ergobaby carrier

Below are videos and guides to how to use a standard Ergobaby carrier. The Ergobaby 360 also offers the option for outward facing carrying. And the Ergobaby Apapt can carry a newborn without the need for an additional insert. For more information on the Ergobaby adapt click here.

Front carry

If you're using you Ergobaby to carry a newborn this is the postion you'll need and for babies up to 2 years its the position you'll most likely keep coming back to. Having baby close and with it easy to kiss the top of their head it can't be beat.

If you are carrying a newborn from approximately 3.2 to 5.5kg youy'll need the infant insert, until they're large enough and their neck is stronger.

The Ergobaby carrier in combination with their Infant Insert enables you to buy one carrier to assist you through all the stages of your baby’s growth. The Infant Insert is a specially padded and shaped cushion that can be quickly and easily placed in the carrier and readjusted as needed. This design easily enables parents to ensure that their newborn is positioned correctly on the pillow, keeping pressure off the developing sacrum, and supports the development of the spine and hips.

It snaps closed around the infant, holding the baby in a cozy, protected environment close to the heart, as well as in an ergonomically correct natural sitting position.

Ergobaby back carry position

Back carry

When baby is 6 months or older the back carry position. While Back Carrying is one of the most liberating types of carries–it enables you to be hands free and keep the baby safely from whatever you are doing–it seems to be one of the most daunting carries for parents.  Back Carrying allows the parent to perform many tasks that would otherwise be difficult with a baby on the front.

Get some help while you practive getting your little one in to the back carry position. It can be tricky to attempt first time round so practice over a soft surface, like the bed. Once you've mastered the technique, adjusted the straps and made sure baby is sitting well in the carrier it's a liberating position to carry your child.

Imagine how much easier it will be to get everyday things done with your baby safely and securely on your back, while she is still able to take in all the sights and sounds around them.

Side carry

When baby is 6 months or older the side carry position is possible. Side carrying with an Ergobaby involves some strap adjustment but once you've done it a couple of times it's straight forward to master.

This position is a good one for transitioning from front carry to back, you still get the closeness experienced with the front carry but a little more freedom to allow you to get on with everyday activities.

The hip carry position can be the least comfortable position over longer periods compared to the back and front carry and your little ones weight is carried is balanced on one side of your body more than the other.

For instructions on how to adjust the Ergobaby carrier to the hip carry position see the related video below.
