Bottle Feeding Essentials
For bottle feeding, you'll find a wide range of PP and glass baby bottles from suitable for newborns and beyond. For easy cleaning routines we stock bottle cleaning brushes and accessories with a range of sterilisers. If you're preparing bottles at home a bottle warmer takes the guesswork out of serving bottles at a safe temperature whilst our formula dispensers are convenient for feeding on the go. Protect your clothes with a wide range of bibs and burp cloths including super soft muslin styles.

Which baby bottle is best?
The best baby bottle depends on your baby's feeding preferences and material preferences. Some babies prefer wide-neck bottles, while others feed better from narrower designs. Consider whether you want a glass bottle, plastic or stainless steel baby bottle, then choose the teat based on the age of your baby, with a slower flow for a newborn.

When should I start solids?

Most babies are ready to start solids at around six months of age, although every baby develops at their own pace. You may notice your baby is showing interest in your food or opens their mouth when a spoon comes towards them; these signs along with having good head and neck control and sitting with support mean your baby may be ready for solids. If you're unsure, your GP or Well Child provider can provide personalised advice.

What essentials do I need for starting solids?
A few key essentials can help make starting solids more enjoyable for both you and your baby. Start with a supportive high chair so baby can sit at table height with the family and so you can feed baby easily, if you’re spoon feeding. Choose baby spoons, suction bowls or plates and a starter cup or sippy cup depending on how you want to serve your food. Divided plates are popular for little ones and baby-led weaning, whilst suction bottoms can prevent the inevitable dinner upturned on the high chair! Silicone and stainless-steel serve ware is popular because they're durable options, easy to clean and made for everyday use.
