How does the Trail Magik Kid Carrier work?
Unlike a conventional baby carrier, Trail Magik doesn't have its own shoulder straps or waistband. Instead, it attaches to a compatible hiking backpack with upper front load-lifter straps and a supportive waist belt.
Once attached, your existing backpack becomes part of the carrying system. This means you can continue carrying your hiking gear while bringing your child along for the ride when little legs get tired.
The Trail Magik Kid Carrier weighs less than 500g and is compact enough to fit into the side water-bottle pocket of many hiking packs, making it easy to keep handy until you need it.
Who is Trail Magik designed for?
Trail Magik is intended for children aged one year and over, with a maximum child weight of approximately 19kg. The Sleep Store notes it has been weight tested with backpacks of 30 litres and larger.
