The Myscar Active Caesarean Silicone Strips are made from 100% medical-grade silicone. Silicone scar products are commonly used to help improve the colour, texture and overall appearance of healed scars.
The strips are soft, flexible and breathable, providing gentle coverage directly over the scar. They are also drug-free and non-invasive, making them a straightforward addition to your scar-care routine once your incision has completely healed.
Designed for active postpartum life
The Active strips are a slightly thicker, more durable option designed with everyday movement in mind. They can be removed, gently washed and reused, which is handy as you become more active following your recovery.
Each strip can be reused for up to two weeks, depending on factors such as your skin's natural oiliness and how well the adhesive is maintained. A pack contains six strips, providing approximately three months' supply when used as directed.
When can I start using Myscar silicone strips?
Myscar should only be used once your incision is fully healed and you have been given clearance by your GP or healthcare professional. The Sleep Store notes this is usually around 6–8 weeks after surgery.
The strips should never be applied to broken skin, open wounds, or oozing or crusting areas. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
