What is the difference between a prebiotic and a probiotic?

Probiotics are live healthy bacteria, which in sufficient quantities, may provide health benefits. When you eat foods that contain probiotics they make their way down into your gut, where there is literally an ecosystem of bacteria working hard to help your body stay well. Prebiotics are fibres that feed the healthy gut bacteria and are important in maintaining a balanced gut. They lay the groundwork for the probiotics to flourish.

My child is a fussy eater, can I add this product to smoothies, yoghurts, liquids?

Absolutely! Our Kids Daily Probiotic comes in an easy to use powder form which mixes and dissolves readily into water, milk, formula or any other cold liquid of your choice.

Does Kids Daily Probiotic contain any added sugar?

BePure Kids Daily Probiotic is unflavoured and has a naturally sweet taste. This product is free from sugar, flavours, preservatives and other nasties that can be found in kids products.

Can Kids Daily Probiotic be taken alongside a course of antibiotics?

Absolutely. The probiotics in Kids Daily Probiotics can provide fantastic gut health support pre, during and post antibiotic use. Just make sure to take Kids Daily Probiotic at least two hours away from your antibiotics.

Does Kids Daily Probiotic contain any dairy?

Yes, some strains in Kids Daily Probiotic are grown on dairy substrates and whilst there is no dairy in our product there may be traces of dairy in our product due to the growing process. This product is therefore not suitable for individuals with known dairy allergies but is safe for those with lactose intolerance or a mild sensitivity to dairy.

Does Kids Daily Probiotic need to be refrigerated?

No, Kids Daily Probiotic is safe to keep at room temperature although we do recommend storing it in a cool, dark place out of the humidity (not direct sun, and not somewhere warm or damp). If you would like to refrigerate your Kids Daily Probiotic you can do so.

Is Kids Daily Probiotic contraindicated with any medications or conditions?
