It can be done in the privacy of your own home, is non-invasive and drug free! Made with advanced premium silicone technology, these strips are used to improve the colour, size, texture and overall appearance of your scar. They can restore and strengthen connective tissue to flatten and soften your caesarean scar.

Considered by plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and doctors alike to be the gold standard in scar rehabilitation. The silicone strip provides slight pressure directly to the scar, mimicking the natural barrier function of healthy skin, helping the skin to better retain moisture. The increased hydration ensures that the damaged skin/scar recovers quicker, reducing the scar's appearance and restoring skin to a more natural colour and texture.

The Original Caesarean Silicone Strips are an ultra thin, breathable, flexible, soft sheet of 100% medical grade silicone. Each strip can be reused for up to 2 weeks. Please note - these strips cannot be washed. Please see The Active Caesarean Silicone Strip for a washable alternative.

CAUTION - For external use only. For use only when signed off by your GP that the incision area has healed, which is usually 6-8 weeks post operation. Sutures must have been removed before applying. Do not use on broken skin, open wounds or on oozing and crusting skin surfaces. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation does occur, discontinue use immediately.

Materials:

100% medical grade silicone strip Ingredients - 100% medical grade silicone gel, polyurethane film

Care:

Do not wash. When not being worn, store in the plastic liner the silicone strip originally came on. Reuse until adhesiveness has deteriorated/gone. Discard 2 weeks after opening. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Clean and dry the scar
Remove silicone strip from clear packet, peel strip off plastic liner
Place the adhesive (sticky) side of the silicone strip directly over the scar
Silicone strip should be worn for 4-8 hours per day for the first few days, then gradually up to 12-24 hours a day
For
optimal results, it recommended to use for a minimum of 12 hours a day
for at least 3-6 months; but optionally up to 12 months+ for further
aesthetic healing/best results
Remove before bathing, showering and swimming

HOW LONG DOES EACH STRIP LAST?

Each
strip can be worn for up to 2 weeks. Reuse each strip until the
adhesiveness has deteriorated/gone. The length of wear will vary
depending on the body's natural oiliness. They are designed to be worn
24 hours a day.
