What is the Gro egg 2?

The New Gro-egg 2 from the Gro Company, has the same fantastic features as the Original Gro-egg, including the colour changing digital thermometer - that lets you know the room temperature at a glance without having to go in and wake your sleeping baby!

However the Gro-egg 2 has a new sleek, silicone design that is 33% bigger and brighter, making it softer to touch and even easier to see at a glance, in addition to the innovative colour changing system and digital temperature display, the Gro-egg 2 includes four adjustable brightness levels allowing you to us it as a nightlight or find a light level which suits your baby.

It can also be used as a nightlight and has a USB cord. The USB cord is approximately 160cm long. The Gro Egg does need a power source and is not battery operated.

Room temperature is vital in creating a safe sleeping environment for your baby and should be maintained at 16-20C to help reduce the risk of cot death - "Babies who get too hot are at an increased risk of SIDS. Please Note: Different room thermometers vary in temperature, up to +/- 1 degree. So if you are using more than one room thermometer in the same room, they may give different readings. This does not make the thermometer faulty, it is just the nature of room thermometers.
