The Nestling Little Kids Ear Defenders are designed to help protect your child’s sensitive hearing during everyday adventures and special events. Suitable from birth to 48 months, these versatile ear defenders provide reliable noise reduction while remaining lightweight and comfortable for little ones to wear.

What makes them unique is their 2-in-1 design, allowing you to choose between a soft fabric headband or a traditional headphone-style band depending on your child’s age, comfort and activity. The fabric headband features an anti-slip silicone grip to help keep the earmuffs securely in place, while the adjustable headphone band offers a snug, comfortable fit for older babies and toddlers.

Designed for use in noisy environments such as concerts, sporting events, fireworks displays, festivals, air travel and busy public spaces, the Nestling Little Kids Ear Defenders help reduce exposure to potentially harmful noise levels while allowing your family to enjoy the experience together.

The earmuffs are super lightweight, contain no metal parts, and have been tested to EN352-1:2020 and EU2016/425 standards, providing a certified SNR (Single Number Rating) of 24dB.

For easy care, simply wipe the earmuffs clean with a damp cloth. The fabric headband can be hand washed or machine washed cold and hung to dry. A convenient fabric storage bag is included to keep everything protected between uses.

Important safety information -

Adult supervision is required at all times.
Recommended use is no more than 90 minutes at a time or 3 hours per day.
Ensure earmuffs completely cover the ears and fit snugly for effective noise reduction.
Product lifetime: 1 year when used and stored according to instructions.

The actual level of protection depends on correct fitting and wearing of the hearing protector. If the hearing protector is not worn during the entire exposure to noise, the protection will be significantly reduced. Earmuffs should be fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to achieve the expected protection.

Materials -

Fabric headband: Polyester, elastic with silicone grip.
Headphone-style band ABS, PVC + PU.
Earmuffs: ABS cover, PVC+PU cups. No metal parts.

Care -

Remove the headband from the earmuffs, gently wipe the earmuffs with a damp cloth to remove dirt.
Fabric headband can be hand or machine washed cold, hung dry. Do not bleach, soak or tumble dry.
Ensure that they are fully dry and store in the fabric storage bag provided.

When not in use, it is recommended that your Little Kids Ear Defenders are stored in the fabric bag away from direct sunlight. Ensure they are completely dry before returning them to the poly bag. The lifetime of the product is one years.

HOW TO USE - FABRIC

HEADBAND

Lay the earmuffs on a smooth surface with the soft side facing down.
Thread the elasticated headband through each earmuffs clip.
Locate the clip on the back of each earmuff and rotate to click into place.
Adjust headband to fit child's head and secure with hook and loop closure.
Check to ensure the earmuffs cover the ears completely. The headband should be snug, but not too tight.

Note: Please adjust the product appropriately when wearing it, avoiding excessive tightening or loosening of the headband to ensure baby's comfort and prevent slippage. Ensure the headband does not cover the eyes.

HOW TO USE - HEADPHONE STYLE

Rotate and click the two earmuffs onto the headband.
Gently place the ear cups over your baby’s ears. Check they are sitting flat and covering the entire ear with no hair, hats or glasses etc between the earmuff and your baby’s head.
Adjust the length of the headband to fit your baby’s head, ensure it sits snugly, but is not too tight.
Continue to monitor the position of the headband and earmuffs during use to ensure they remain in place for effective sound reduction.

WARNING

If the above recommendations are not followed the protection afforded by the ear defenders could be severely impaired.

Adult
supervision is required during use at all times, as children will not
be as aware of any environmental or warning sounds around them. Ensure
the headband does not slip over their face or off the back of their
head.
