The Sleep Store Insulated Food Jar keeps your food nice and warm (or cold) just in time for lunch! Designed to fit inside The Sleep Store Lunch Box, this food jar will keep your food hot for up to 6 hours and cold for up to 12 hours.

To help keep food warmer for longer we suggest setting a good environment for your food. Before placing hot food in your jar, pour boiling water in the jar and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Same goes for cold food, pop some ice or icy cold water in the jar for 5 minutes before popping your cold food in. We also recommend where possible filling the jar as much as you can as the less air in the jar, the longer your food will stay warm/cold.

These jars are easy enough for children to open but note they are not a screw top. You need the handle straight up before you can lift the lid - the handle is the locking mechanism that keeps the lid from coming undone. This is easiest if you lift up the handle towards you rather than away from you before you try opening it. You can't open the lid if the handle is only part way up.

First opening

Please note the lids can suction closed very securely! After first opening, the vacuum will be easier to open.
