Layers of Merino are an essential tool in helping children sleep better during those cooler months, so we are delighted to have this high quality bodysuit as part of our Sleep Store range.

These long sleeve bodysuits are always a favourite for layering under sleeping bags and clothing. We have updated the style so they now have 2 snaps at the neckline and 3 snaps at the crotch which makes change time easier and also ensures the garment doesn't 'ride up' making it the perfect base layer on little bodies.

The extra fine single jersey Merino has a delicious quality tee shirt type feel to it that is just so soft and smooth - the smoothest of our Merino! It has a comfortable stretch to it and as with all our Merino it is sure to retain its beautiful shape.

Why do we love Merino so much? Known as the 'miracle fibre' when it comes to infant sleep, Merino wool is a naturally temperature-regulating and moisture wicking fibre. It will help to keep baby warm in winter but also cool in the warmer months without waking up clammy. It has the ability to naturally lock away odours, releasing them when washed or aired - this can mean less washing... yay! Merino is also naturally fire retardant. Of course we recommend keeping your children well away from any heaters and fires ("a metre from the heater!") but Merino is a naturally low fire danger fabric.

Care:

Gentle machine or hand wash in cold or 30°C water with a liquid wool wash
Dry immediately — lay flat or hang dry
You may notice some pilling with wear. This is normal for soft merino fibres rubbing against other fabrics (such as flannelette sheets) and is considered normal wear and tear
Protect your merino from moths and silverfish — always store clean garments, and use lavender or cedarwood as a deterrent
