Our Sleep Store Premium All Seasons Organic Cotton & Merino Sleeping Bag is made from two layers of beautiful quality fabric. It is designed as an All Seasons Midweight Sleeping Bag for room temperatures of approximately 18 to 25°C. The Sleeping Bags outer layer is 200gm organic cotton, with the inner layer crafted from 200gm merino lining. Night time nappy changes are quick and easy with a one way zip that closes from the top down to prevent baby scratching their chin and playing with the zip when older.

This bag is super versatile, and can be used year round apart from very cold rooms. If you want to compare to other bags in our range, this is similar weight and feel to the 3-Seasons Woolbabe Sleeping Bags. The main difference is this bag has separate layers for merino (lining) and cotton (outer) where as the Woolbabe bag has 2 layers of merino/cotton blend. This combination of fabric gives excellent breathability and allows for good movement.

Why do we love Merino so much? Known as the 'miracle fibre' when it comes to infant sleep, Merino wool is a naturally temperature-regulating and moisture wicking fibre. It will help to keep your little one warm in winter but also cool in the warmer months without waking up clammy. It has the ability to naturally lock away odours, releasing them when washed or aired - this can mean less washing... yay! Merino is also naturally fire retardant. Of course we recommend keeping your children well away from any heaters and fires ("a metre from the heater!") but Merino is a naturally low fire danger fabric.

Fire Safety

This product complies with the Product Safety Standard (Children’s Nightwear and Limited Daywear Having Reduced Fire Hazard) Regulations 2016 and Safety Standard AS/NZS 1249:2014 (Children's Nightwear and Limited Daywear having Reduced Fire Hazard).

Care:

Gentle machine or hand wash in cold or 30°C water with liquid wool wash
Dry immediately — lay flat or hang dry
Do not bleach or tumble dry
Please follow the care instructions on the care label
Protect your merino from moths and silverfish — ensure garments are clean before storing with lavender and cedarwood as these are noxious to pests.

I’m naturally fluffy

These garments are naturally fluffy but washing separately for the first few washes will help the natural wool fibres on the inside to settle and will free any excess fluff.

Our All Seasons Front Zip Sleeping bag is suitable for temperatures around 18-26°C. The temperature range is dependent on the layers your bub is wearing with this bag. We would likely compare this bag to be between a 3-seasons Woolbabe sleeping bag and a Duvet Woolbabe sleeping bag.
