WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BENTO THREE AND BENTO FIVE?
Different configurations on the inside.
The Bento Three has 3 compartments and is good for larger items like a full sandwich or wrap.
The Bento Five has 5 compartments, so
it’s great for packing more variety or for ‘grazers’ who prefer small
amounts of different foods.
IS THE LUNCH BOX LEAKPROOF?
The Bento lunch boxes are leakproof for wet foods like dips, yogurts, and thick sauces. However, they're not leakproof for liquids such as salad dressings, soup, or sauces. To prevent any excess liquids from crossing over to other compartments of the lunch box when packing foods like watermelon or citrus, we recommend placing a folded-up paper towel at the bottom - or you can utilise Bento Cups or Leakproof Dip & Sauce Boxes.
ARE THE LUNCH BOXES DISHWASHER SAFE?
Yes, all the lunch boxes are dishwasher safe* on the top rack on a cooler setting (45 degrees Celsius) than most dishwasher cycles. Wipe off any excess moisture from both the inside and outside of the lunch box after the dishwasher cycle ends. Note that hotter cycles may cause warping and void the warranty. If you run your dishwasher on a hotter cycle, we recommend hand washing. *For the Bento Three+ please remove the seal on the lid of the Bento Box and hand wash this in soapy water. Make sure both the lunch box and seal are completely dry before reinserting it.
Lift out the seal, hand wash and allow to dry. Press around all the edges to put the seal back in to your lunch box.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY LUNCH BOX?
Always store your lunch box with the lid open when not in use to let the seal fully dry. Storing it with the lid closed could result in mould growth.
CAN I PRE-PACK THE LUNCH BOX THE NIGHT BEFORE?
Absolutely! The Bento lunch boxes are airtight, allowing you to pack them the night before and store them in the fridge until morning.
CAN I PUT THE LUNCH BOXES IN THE MICROWAVE OR FREEZER?
No, the lunch boxes are not designed to be used in the microwave or freezer.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS BPA-FREE?
Yes, all products are made of durable, hard-wearing BPA-free, food-safe materials.

We ship with Courier Post & Fastway. Packages are sent Non-Signature Required unless over $350 value or you request Signature Required for security concerns. If you are rural, we don’t charge extra but please do include a note on your order so we can ticket your package correctly. Please allow additional days for rural or you are ordering during holiday periods or major promotions.
