General Promotion Terms and Conditions
We like to be as honest and clear with the way we communicate our offers as we can. With any of our offers, they are typically available on selected in-stock products and for a limited amount of time. If there is a particular aspect of a promotion that needs further explanation we’ll try to cover it near the main message and/or on this page.
Sales and Clearance offers

Sale offers happen throughout the year with bigger seasonal sale events typically towards the end of Winter and Summer. We will also do smaller sale events, perhaps on a specific brand, product range or category at times in between that. Prices are as marked on selected products, styles and prints. Limited time sale only, while stocks last.
Our Clearance offers operate slightly differently from our sale events. If an item is displayed as being on clearance it will typically remain a clearance item until the stock of that item has been exhausted. It’s rare for a clearance item to go back to being full price - examples might be that new stock has unexpectedly become available from the supplier, or the item’s properties have changed so that what made it a “clearance” item no longer applies to the current stock.
Multibuy offers apply to selected items marked with a “MULTIBUY up to XX% off” sticker. We normally have a number of different multibuy deals running on the website at once and operating separately from one another. The easy way to find out if two items are in the same multibuy offer is to check if the sticker has the same message AND if when those items are both added to the cart that the multibuy discount activates. If the items can’t be “mixed and matched” to trigger the discount then the discount won’t apply to your shopping cart.
We have two main types of multibuy offer. The most common is our tiered multibuy offer. This type of multibuy increases the discount amount depending on the number of full-priced items in your cart. The discount amount will stop increasing once it reaches a certain threshold. For example; buy 2 items within a particular multibuy and save 10% on those 2 items, buy 3 or more and save 15% on all 3 items.
The other type of multibuy discount we offer is a set price multibuy. Like above this type of offer only applies to selected items, only when they are marked with a specific multibuy sticker and when stock is available. A typical example of a set price multibuy might be “Buy 2 for $99, Buy 3 for $129.
If you return an item purchased in any multibuy deal, the refund or store credit will be adjusted to reflect the new discount level you would have received had you purchased the number of items you kept. For example - if you buy 2 and get 20% off both items, and then return one of the items, the full price will be charged for the item you are keeping and your refund will be the difference between full price and what you paid.
Multibuy offers aren’t available on already discounted items, such as sale items, and you can’t combine a multibuy deal with a coupon code discount or a bundle deal pack.
Bundle Deals apply to a collection of items purchased together. A Bundle Deal’s price is already discounted before it is added to your cart. An example of a Bundle Deal is our Swaddle & Shush bundle - 2x Miracle Blanket swaddles and a Yogasleep hushh white noise machine. The deal price of this bundle is shown and the RRP values of the seperate items are also shown on the bundle product page for reference.
Because the discount is factored into the bundle price, other discounts (such as coupon codes and multibuy discounts) can’t be used with Bundle Deals.
If a collection of items are in a bundle deal you’ll see a “Bundle Deal” sticker next to the product and within the description of the bundle deal offer on its product page.
If you purchase a bundle and then return an item from this bundle, the remaining items become full price items and the refund or store credit will be the difference between what you paid and the full price items you are keeping.
Loyalty Points Discounts
Have you signed up to our SleepPoints Rewards loyalty program yet? If you’re after a little extra boost with your order make sure you do! Every customer who’s a SleepPoints VIP earns reward points on their order, which can then be converted to store credit or redeemed as rewards products.
There may be instances where SleepPoints can’t be redeemed, for example outlet or clearance products. If exclusions like this apply we’ll do our best to make this clear.

Coupon code discounts apply to new purchases while the discount code is active and only when the coupon code is entered at the checkout. We can’t apply coupon codes after an order has gone through, so make sure if you have a coupon code to enter it in the checkout or cart when you place your order.
Coupon discounts apply to full-priced items only unless stated otherwise. Typically coupon codes are active for a limited amount of time and do expire. Discount codes cannot be used with other offers, coupons, vouchers, multibuys, bundle deals or free gift offers, and product coupon codes exclude the shipping fee (if one applies). Coupons may be paused while we have major sitewide sales.
If a coupon has expired the discount won’t apply and you’ll likely see a message in the cart which tell you the coupon has expired. If you see this message, sorry but it looks like you might have missed the deal, best sign up to our newsletter and follow us on our socials so you don’t miss out next time.
Where can you find coupon codes for The Sleep Store? We regularly offer new subscribers to our mailing list a coupon off their first purchase, sign up below and see if we have one active now. You might also receive a coupon code off a friend as part of our Refer a Friend referral program. If we have short term offer coupon codes then we share those details in our VIP group and sometimes through the main social media pages - go to the Community page to find links to these.
Items marked down for our outlet aren’t eligible to have additional discounts or deals applied to them. This also applies to rewards points being used against them.
Outlet items do not qualify for our 365 Day Returns policy, they instead have their own returns conditions which are typically communicated through their product pages or product descriptions.
Free Gift T&C's
If a product qualifies for one of our limited-time free gift offers, we’ll highlight that product with a sticker that says or is similar to “Free Gift when you buy this product”
If you see an item marked with one of these stickers, add it to your cart and it should also add the appropriate free gift to your cart at the same time. Depending on the type of free gift offer we have running usually only one gift is available per item marked with the free gift sticker which is added to your cart.
We like to make sure we deliver exactly what you’ve ordered from us - and the same goes for free gifts within orders. However, if when we come to pack your order we find that the free gift is damaged, out of stock or simply not available for some reason we’ll substitute the free gift item for a similar item, so that you are not left waiting for your main items in your order to be dispatched.
We can’t offer additional discounts to items that also have a free gift offer available on them.
If you decide to return the item you purchased you will also have to return the free gift with which it was delivered at the same time. If you’d like to keep the free gift item then we will deduct the current price of the item which was a free gift from your store credit or refund amount.
Social Media Competitions & Giveaways
If you follow us on social media you know we love a good giveaway and competition - it puts a lot of fun and excitement into our day and we hope it does the same for our followers.
In the same way that we like to only sell the things that we have on our shelves in our warehouse, for giveaways, we only like to offer up as a prize what we know we can deliver to the winner. However, on the very rare occasion that for whatever reason we don’t have the particular prize available at the time we were going to send it to the winner, we will substitute the prize to another one of the same or similar value. If you’re the winner and this happens with your prize we would normally contact you to let you know what’s happened.
Winners are drawn at random after the time and date we’ve specified that entries close. If we’re unable to contact the winner and arrange delivery of the prize, we’ll redraw the competition and choose a different winner. If we do this we’ll update the post to let everyone know.

Free Shipping Promotions
From time to time we may run Free Shipping offers on a reduced threshold (e.g. Free Shipping on orders over $49) for Account Holders or Gold VIP's. Please note, the usual exclusions apply for these offers, including but not limited to large/bulky items and furniture. You can see our list of shipping exclusions here.
